The three main people behind The Borderlands are Megh Ale, Anil Chitrakar and Wade Campbell. . Megh Ale is one of Nepal's leading figures in rafting. Having spent several years working and exploring the rivers and jungles of Nepal, including four years at the Bardiya National Park as a naturalist, Megh is always ready to share his deep understanding of Nepal and its myriad cultures, plants and animals. He is the founder and president of the Nepal River Conservation Trust (NRCT), and the Managing Director of Ultimate Descents Nepal and the Borderlands Group. The Borderlands PDP is part of the Borderlands Group that focuses on Professional and Leadership Development programs for Corporate Houses and Schools, both national as well as international. |

Wade Campbell is a Canadian native and has had extensive experience in outdoor adventure pursuits. He has delivered outdoor programs for nineteen years in various countries and has spent ten years in business and travel in Asia. He is knowledgeable in the field of experimental education, adventure-based programs, marketing and tourism. He began his career in Outdoor Education with the Canadian Outward Bound Wildness School in 1984. He is presently the Director for the Borderlands Adventure Centre |
