Introduction
WELCOME TO THE BORDERLANDS GROUP’S april NEWSLETTER!
All of us at the Borderlands wish you a very Happy and Prosperous Nepali New Year 2066 and hope that the year ahead will be a good and peaceful year for people all over the world and for the tourism industry as well.
April was a comparatively slow month in terms of the Professional Development Programs as only a couple of those were organized. However, we were busy meeting potential clients and used the time to work on marketing strategies so that we can get more businesses in the coming months and we can better serve our clients. Nature-treks.com and Ultimate Descents Nepal on the other hand were quite busy with the reservations that came for trekking and rafting trips.
Apart from reorganizing the office set-up, the month also saw a new staff joining the organization, old staff being promoted and some being appointed as permanent staffs. Mr. Khim Bahadur Gurung joined the organization as the Assistant General Manager, Mr. Gaurav Dahal was promoted to Corporate and Marketing Manager, Mr. Santosh Shrestha was officially appointed as the PDP coordinator and Mrs. Archana N. Basnyat and Mr. Choodamani Adhikari were appointed as permanent staffs.
On the other hand, we also witnessed one of the most important festivals of Nepal- Chaitra Dasain and Ram Navami which were celebrated on April 03, 2009 with a lot of religious fervor and fun. The Nepali Bikram Sambat Year (New Year 2066) was also welcomed all over the country with much celebrations and merrymaking.
At the onset of the Nepali New Year, we do hope that the coming year will be a very good and fruitful year for the Borderlands Group, the tourism industry and for people all over the world.
Constructive criticism and suggestions are always welcome from our valued readers, clients, friends and fellow people!
