Introduction
WELCOME TO THE BORDERLANDS GROUP’S september NEWSLETTER!
The month of September saw the most important festival of the Hindus (Dashain) being celebrated with much pomp and ardor throughout the country. With Dashain over, another big festival of the Nepalese is just around the corner- the Tihar celebration starts from October 16, 2009 and ends with Bhai Tika on October 19, 2009. The Borderlands family takes this opportunity to wish all a very Happy and Joyous Deepawali!
Over all, the Borderlands Group (www.borderlandsgroup.com) enjoyed an eventful month. The Borderlands Eco Adventure Resort (www.borderlandresorts.com) was busy catering to the requirements of the guests and the LDP (Leadership Development Programs) participants while the Borderlands PDP was busy with the various programs that were organized during the month for various organizations. On the other hand, Ultimate Descents Nepal (www.udnepal.com), Nepal’s premier rafting organization, ran quite a number of rafting trips in the Sun Koshi and Kali Gandaki Rivers while Nature-treks.com (www.nature-treks.com) spent most of its time further enhancing its website and preparing for the upcoming trekking activities that are lined up for the month of October.
We are hopeful that the coming tourist season will be a very good one for Nepal and the Nepalese tourism industry as a whole!
Constructive criticism and suggestions from our valued readers, clients, and friends are always welcome!
